Oyster Shell Decorating

Join us for a fun + creative hands-on workshop where we transform oyster shells into beautiful keepsakes. Using a variety of seasonal images and decorative papers, guests will learn the art of decoupage to design their own unique ornament or dainty dish for holding precious items such as earrings and rings.

Each shell is then finished with a touch of metallic paint along the edges.

Guests will have the opportunity to create one of their very own oyster decorations.

We love this activity as it pays homage to one of our favorite sea creatures, giving them a special place in our homes for years to come. In addition to our up-cycling, did you know that oyster shells have many uses such as landscaping, soil amendment (crushed shells which adds minerals and calcium, helping with pH balance and improving fertility) and more! The Oyster Shell Decoupage is a complimentary experience (ages 13+).
